That's a bit aggressive. I may cut the ball and socket off and use a wide band clamp .

Locking fastener.
Something like Stage8 if they make?
The odd thing is the nuts are not backing off . The are lock nuts . I thing the flanges are deforming. I actually found a ball and socket band clamp . I ordered 2 of these in stainless. I really don't like the 3 bolt triangle flanges anyway . I will take some pics when I get them and show the difference.

That makes sense believe it or not.
I have had flanges bend on other cars causing leaks.

Luckily it's not leaking but the bolts rattling are driving my know sensors crazy and it's hard to tune WOT.

I would like you guy/gals to do something when you get time . I would like you to post back here your hot idle vacuum and oil pressure.
( engine thermostat open and in P on A8 or in neutral on M8 . )
This is for my curiosity.

Well out for some more testing . A couple of things . At 38F my car makes 19 psi ( 2.30 Pratio) and at 72F it makes 18 psi ( 2.25 Pratio ) . These are peak numbers . Also I see 18 inches of vacuum at hot idle . My car made the best of 16 inches before.

And those blasted header collector bolts loosened up AGAIN ! WTF I need to figure out a new way of connecting the headers to the exhaust.

A couple clean tack welds will work. Put them in a place where they are easy to grind or cut when necessary.

Moparjim's car is In getting a warranty engine .
Demonsrt is trying to upgrade his suspension and is having a hell of a time getting parts
And 16gomango had to rebuild his engine and is stuck waiting for parts so none of them can start their cars . I figured I'd throw a dig at them .
