Anyone know what fuse is for the release motor on the trunk. Mine stopped working. From what I have tested it doesn’t appear I’m getting power power to it and my trunk interior light doesn’t work. All the other interior lights work. I found the fuse for the other interior lights.

If it was like mine it wasn't a fuse, they had to replace something

When mine won't open it was the FOB battery.

would be nice if it were that easy. Yours wouldn't open even pushing the button on the trunk?

I saw that. My fuse box is different but I guess I could pull all the 20s. It’s a better start than nothing

If you guys don’t mind a link to the other place…I remember reading this…I think there was another thread about it, but found this one quickly. Also, remember someone saying they had to replace their latch assembly.

Did you pull the manual release if you drop the rear seats?

Yep that’s how I been opening it.
I don’t think it is tho. Because the interior trunk light is out and from what I’ve found they run off the same power source

The wire harness, that runs up the right side hinge arm, on the trunk lid, is prone to failure. It is a known issue, going back to 2006, LX.

As the trunk is opened, the wire bundle flexes. Eventually, the wires will break, inside the insulation, and need to be cut and spliced.

On my 06 Charger, this meant no CHMSL and no trunk worky.

Not saying this is your issue, but something to be aware of.

When was the last time you opened the trunk?

And that link is working now.

This is why I made a manual trunk release I can access from inside the car.

I always pop my trunk after going through a really nice touchless automatic car wash. Even blow dries it. But still need to dry off some water from the under the trunk lid.

No but I also haven’t put in effort in since.
