I’m not sure about that. The BMW captured a ton of young enthusiasts because of the TTI6 and AWD. Young guys aren’t wanting a massive 4800lb car that runs 12.4’s.

Sad that a car company will now brag about 550HP in an ugly ass car, when not long ago the very same company built great looking cars with 700+HP. Unless a major change is in the works Dodge is still a dying brand.

I heard the announcer describing the Charger and was going on about how it was 2" wider than the widebody, well yeah it's bigger than my SUV!

Like I said before, they just don't have anything and had to pull a rabbit, I'm just not sure it's gonna work.

I'm in, I'm gonna test drive one when they hit. My 2020 Scat pack stock with just a Hellcat lower and grill tube with a Hellcat filter and a set of Nexen Drag Radials I hit 11.7 @ 117 mph with a 1.6 60 ft time. 0-60 times same configuration I hit a 3.5.

With 550 HP , I assume rear wheel drive? Hitting a 12.2 and 0-60 in 3.9 seconds isn't bad at all considering it's a bigger car, maybe around the same weight considering the 6.4L weighs more then the 3.0 H.O engine.
I love the new interior, I sat in the EV model at the car show and it's worlds better then my 2020 interior.

I wish Dodge would have released these first. Ok here is how I feel

Dodge should have released a HEMI powered new Charger
Then released the in line 6 as an optional trim level
Then released the EV as another trim level
Still offer the 6.2 Hellcat engine in Red eye form.

With the EV being a trim level, I think they would have done much better. Offering all the different trim levels would have given everyone an option. Hell think about how many Challenger trim levels there where over the years, geez

Meh. Muscle car my ass. The thing makes 30psi of boost and runs basically the same as a 392 Hemi. Thay HAD a great boosted engine. I was expecting more.

The Hurricane is going to prove great it’s just the car is way too heavy. A Hellcat power plant isn’t going to make this car significantly better since a fully dressed iron block hellcat is 850lbs. That would make this car weigh in at 5200lbs with 400 more lbs on the front end.

I guess the Ford Super Duties are serviced that way now for any major engine work, with the cabs being lifted. Not that an I6 shouldn't need replacement already.
