I want to switch to hp tuners. I will be having a Phoenix shop tune her. But they will also e mail me the tunes. I will be just using it for my car to log and make minor changes. So what part number should I order with the least amount of credits that will cover the pcm and tcm?

There is no ‘least’ amount of credits. The number of credits is defined on their site. For PCM.

For TCM.

The least amount of credits is six.

Hope this helps!

Like I said before,, and again. Tune it yourself and save the $$ it will cost for some one to do the same thing. Order the HP on line and read the instructions. It is a hand held computer that plugs into your computer under the dash. Then you can dial in what you want and change what you don't. If and when you descide to sell the auto,, you can down load the program back into the tuner and reinstall the factory one into the auto. As long as the program is the same for each. I have 5 do to the fact it was for 5 different cars. Can be sold and changed to a persons preference. Timing, gears shiftings, rear end, ect.

Well I am going to take the plunge. M02-000-06. comes with 6 credits. There is a tuner that is moving back to Tucson from TX and needs a CPA badly. So we are going to trade services.

Wound up ordering the M02-008-06. That has the cables, usb connectors, and a flash drive. On sale for 709 from Summit.

I must mention this also. My diablo pcm fried and left me stranded. So I sent in my original pcm from the car to get it unlocked. When installed I got P1400 and other codes. I sent the information to Mike Litch today from Diablo. He stated they opened up my pcm incorrectly. You would think after buying a suspension controller from him and his software he would offer me a new pcm. Not even an apology. I was told by my tuner who transitioned from Diablo that there are glitches from Diablo and that was part of the reason for the change. So Diablos product was not working properly and in conjunction they messed up my original PC with terrible customer service. That is all I have to say on this subject.

My experience with them (from a customer service standpoint) was similar.

They couldn't seem to care in the slightest that their tool bricked my locked PCM.

I am going to check with the local guy on Tuesday, Ultimate Car Care East Bay Dr Largo, Fl, concerning the twin turbos and personal tuning, the latest and greatest tuning available tuning out. Also the dealer shit whom is not going to give it a thumbs up no matter what. On Tuesday for a free earl change under warranty and wheel balancing,, warranty also. These guys are the best around this area for muscle cars, including crappy Super Beez and great Demons. I will report back.

In order to just log the PCM, I wouldn't need any credits, correct? I'd just need to buy credits once I'm ready to tune? Or would it be better to get the credits right away?

Follow the instructions with HP tuners and one of the last steps with the setup(I believe) is clearing the codes. I remember when I did mine it threw some strange codes as well and I cleared them and haven’t come back.

Yes, only need credits if your making changes to the tune.

Sorry on the PCM issues with Diablo, That's pretty shitty that they won't fix or replace it if they F'd it up.
That being said, I have a Diablo PCM since late 2017 or early 2018 & haven't had any issues so it must be something new ?

Not to small as my eyes like to see larger items. 15 inch. Some ACER that was highly rated for under $500. No need to spend the big bucks on a one purpose laptop that my teenage girls and wife better not touch. :)

OK, that's what I thought - a 15" is perfect, I have a 17" for home use & think that would be a little big in the car.

Yeah I use two 17 inch laptops for my cpa practice. I wish they even made larger ones for business purposes.

Not that I've seen, at least not in a serious laptop.
