Installation of Powerstop Z26 rotors and brakes

Tools needed:
Rubber mallet, drift punch, channel locks (or something to grab the pins to get them out), jack stand & jack. 22mm socket (I used deep impact socket), breaker bar, and torque wrench. Will also need large screwdrivers to push break calipers back (or the proper tools if you have them) and a small screwdriver. And of course, a socket wrench.
Fronts : 16 mm socket, 13 mm socket, blue loctite.
Rears : 18 mm socket

Lessons learned : reuse the pins in the back, ones supplied are too short. Do not reuse the original brackets from brembo, use the ones provided or they will rub (especially the back). There's an o ring/seal that rides in a groove on the backs. It was dark and I didn't see it well. Rotors won't come off without it (pics 87, 89, and 90). The small screwdriver will get them out.

Which front rotors did yours have originally, the 1- or 2-piece? I suppose, that's if the 2-piece rotors were even an option for MY 2020. I've considered the changeover to at least the Powerstop pads for my 2021 which has the 2-piece front rotors.

Which front rotors did yours have originally, the 1- or 2-piece? I suppose, that's if the 2-piece rotors were even an option for MY 2020. I've considered the changeover to at least the Powerstop pads for my 2021 which has the 2-piece front rotors.
Pretty sure it was 2 piece, but I don't 100% recall. I know I have 2 piece on my hellcat, I put the z26 pads on my hellcat and the z23 (with replacement rotors) on my wife's Durango

Pretty sure it was 2 piece, but I don't 100% recall. I know I have 2 piece on my hellcat, I put the z26 pads on my hellcat and the z23 (with replacement rotors) on my wife's Durango
That should read Z26 on the Durango as well

I'll need to look at / for specs to see if a 1-piece rotor can replace the 2-piece, utilizing the existing caliper. I would like to think they would be similar in their specs.

Unless you are not doing crazy stuff the rotors should last a long time. My '01 Mustang had 76k and still had the stock pads and rotors when I sold it. I changed the pads on my Hellcat to the z26 with 8k on them, it has 23k on them now, rotors still look good

Centric part number: 226.63088 are one piece versions of their two piece clones (126.63088). They are specifically designed to replace the more expensive two piece fronts.

226.63088 run $50-$80.

I did on my 2019. Have optional Hellcat brakes on the front
