Had the alignment checked today. When I did it the 1st time I had +4 tabs in all the arms. After talking to Parker he said I needed +5 driver side and +7 passenger side. Gas was just over 1/2 tank like last time

@Speedy! you should go in and check yours again. I think your right front camber was -2.4 My left front camber was -2.6 I didn't change anything on the front and it was -1.6 and the right went from -.09 to -1.9 so no idea what is happening up front.
Also speedy there was a fan on and the left rear camber was moving some from +.10 to +.20

The top sheet is last time before and after and bottom sheet is today. Think it is pretty close

Like @DGatzby said the toe will move when you change the camber and it did

I like it. That car should hook and drive straight.
Tell your friend he did great!

It felt amazing last time out. I had the +4 and +6 in it then. Should be +.2 more per side now

I didn't like the fact I changed tires and arms at the same time but after the bad wheel hop I wanted to do everything I could to get rid of that and I did

Bad track prep? With what you have you should have some good traction. Too much timing down low? What is your combo?

This looks pretty good TBH. I'm a lot closer to zero than this and mine does pretty good. I think my call of 4's & 6's would've set you dead on 0/0 side to side. A setting to remember if you ever need it for some other circumstance.

Reminds me to check and order tabs for mine. I'm gonna tweak it slightly whenever I get bored.

I should have been real close to 0 last time out being I had 4 and 6 in. Think Parker was aiming for +.25 and that is about where it landed

Running on Curt’s tune running Corn 917 WHP 910 torque tried launching in 2nd not any better did find out I had my tire pressure to low was running 18 then 16 was told that I needed to be around 21-23 so I plan to give that a try on Friday and found out that I need to get a NHRA lic as I’m over 135 mph per our tech checker last week came as a shock thought we were good to 150 read it in manual as I was questioning it

You may be thinking of the cage rule.
but no way you shouldn’t be pulling better times. Most important thing is to make it point a to point b.
19 to 21psi would be my recommendation. I’d leave around 1100 rpm.

You need one in the 9's and it could be over 135 also

What pulleys you running, lower also?

I start around 20 psi if spinning go less if hooking go more. I was running 18 with the 305's last time out because it was not hooking trying to find some traction

Having some good tires and you have the arms I'm thinking real bad track prep. Are you getting a good burnout?

NHRA Street Legal
As part of the ongoing effort to keep pace with current trends in the high-performance automotive industry, NHRA has announced several enhancements to the Street Legal program. The program will allow a broader and more diverse range of vehicles for the participants and give recognition to their on-track performance.
Since its formation in 1951, the National Hot Rod Association has worked tirelessly to combat and eliminate the dangerous and illegal practice of street racing. To this day, that continues to be the primary mission for the association. One of the most effective tools in the fight against illegal street racing has been establishing Street Legal events, which are held regularly at NHRA member tracks across North America.
“Updating and improving the Street Legal program couldn’t come at a more crucial time for our industry and sport,” said Matt DeYoung, Tucson Dragway Track Manager. “We continue to see manufacturers make faster vehicles available right off the showroom floor while increasing features that couldn’t be overlooked anymore. NHRA along with the help and input of NHRA Member Tracks across the country have worked to improve and grow the experience and sustainability of this program for our Street Legal customers. We believe our racers will embrace these changes and it will grow our grudge racing and Street Legal Program while helping prevent faster OEM cars taking to the streets.”
Changes to the Street Legal program will allow racers with 2014 and newer OEM model-year production cars to run as quick as 9.00-seconds and/or 150-mph (5.65-eighth-mile). In addition, racers with 2008-2013 OEM model-year cars will still be permitted to run as quickly as 10.00-seconds and/or 135-mph (6.40-eighth-mile).
Unaltered OEM installed antilock brakes, OEM airbag functions, OEM stock frame\unibody construction, including OEM floors and firewall, as well as all other OEM safety-related systems must be functioning as per manufacturer’s specifications. Tires used may be other than OEM, but they must be DOT-approved. Convertibles quicker than 13.49(8.25) and T-tops quicker than 11.49 (7.35) must meet Summit Racing Series roll-bar and roll-cage requirements. An NHRA Level 6 license is required for drivers running quicker than 10.00 (*6.39) or faster than 135 mph. A level 7 competition license is also available to racers whose elapse times are above 10.00/6.40.
NHRA will recognize racers at an NHRA Member Track for their on-track performance with unique Street Legal decals. Street Legal decals will be available for racers at a quarter-mile facility who break the

I'm glad not every track is that restrictive. Another way to get around it is to put N/T on your window. No time will be displayed on the boards:)

NHRA track that fudges the saftey and then has an inspection by NHRA will lose their insurance and track status, they probably won't fuck around at the major tracks. MIR and Cecil I've heard have been on the war path.

@vortecd congrats on the install, now wait till it's all red like mine... 😁

I think time is more on their radar then speed but after your new blower install 9's will be the norm. Jon and I are in the same boat. It is more of "when" can we get one. I wanted to have it by mid July but with the tracks racing schedule until then not sure it will happen

Stanton starts test and tunes regular back up next week. May be the only choose. Martin has a tnt on the 8th and 13th which are Wednesdays.
