If you have a cage and or a chute you are no longer a street car. Street cars don't require cages or chutes.

You can register whatever the F you want in certain states, doesn't mean it's a street car. Do you really think Tom Bailey's Sick 1.0/2.0 are street cars?

I trailer mine now cause I'm tired of going to a track and breaking shit, with a full weight car 4600+ it puts a toll on parts trying to get close to 8.9.

NMCA would be to differ with this, you should read some of the NMRA rules.

All sounds like a fun time... lol...

I can't daily mine because e85 and I get like 4.4 mpg... don't think I agree with this.

I'm glad you identify as a race car, unlike some other individuals.. 🤣

What is this 1939? Is your car in disrepair? AC has been offered since 1940... https://www.motortrend.com/news/automotive-air-conditoning-history/

I have strong opinions on this. If you show up to a track, gutted, cage, chute. IDGAF if you got tags, you're a race car. Don't care if you drive it 1000 miles a week. Congrats you daily a RACE CAR...
You’re way too good at the quote function

You called it. Street car is a clean ride, fast, reliable, drivable.

my hellcat has 1000 whp on the street and still running strong.

Eats exotics and everything else that wants some.

runs mid 9’s with a shitty 60’ and runs 180+ in the half mile.

and my wife loves it, and enjoys driving it occasionally.

Guys it comes down to this.... it's your car, call it what ever you want to. This is America and if you want to call your purple Challenger a red Charger....It's your car.

Doesn't matter about other people's opinions. It's your car, race it, drive to the track, trailer it, drive it around town or garage queen it. Just have fun in your car and do what you want.

We built your car for the heavy weight class and trailer and race it. Streetcar Class 4200 lbs and DOT tires. Run whatcha brung and mine is a Streetable Race Car. LOL!!

The new Demon 170 is both in my opinion. On e85 with everything in order; I see no problem running 9 flat and not getting kicked out of the track. You wouldn't want to drive it on the street on e85; you'd go broke because of the bad mileage. On the other hand.....Fill it up with 91 or 93 and cruise across the country. My 2018 Demon got 22 mpg on my 300 mile round trips I went on. I figure the 170 might get close to that at a steady 65 mph. Of course a tire swap would be in order as you probably wouldn't want to drive the Mickey Thompson ET Street R tires on a long trip. I had no problem with them on my 300 mile trips. No rain of course!

Probably cheaper to run it on E85, or at the very least similar in overall cost. Mileage might go down a bit but it's about $1.30/gallon cheaper here than 93.
