Yes, yes, that's what I meant. Somewhat like our White Sands Natl. Monument.

Then again, with "Purerock" as a screen name, and in the transportation biz, who knows what the real meaning was.

This is in Skagway AK after 5000 plus miles.
I drove out to Dyea (the original landing port for the Yukon Goldrush)
Out there was 8 inches plus. ..40 miles from help and no AAA...
