    HELLCAT 1/4 MILE TIME LIST

No not me but someone from here in conjunction with the track I go to. You know the so called fake track. LOL They probably have a printer somewhere. It's just a screen on a pedestal. The screen works like the app on the phone. I saw a pic somewhere of one. Maybe on the dyno geeks website...

    HELLCAT 1/4 MILE TIME LIST

Nice runs in that air. I see more tracks are using the app. Guess where that app came from.😉 Does the track have a printer for the app?

What else do you drive besides a HC?

My daily, or what I use mostly if I leave the house these days. LOL

Track day July 4th with Motorhead.

I had it in the shade. Only put it there for the pic. The DA may be 50ft off at most for the time it was on the dash at the pillar. Maybe 30 seconds at most before I took the pic.

That's what I have wondered all along. It has always been out to lunch compared to every other means of info.

Yes I noticed that. As a matter of fact I tested that. LOL I perched it on the pillar for the pic.

That is my point. It was not 82f. The thermometer in the car read 97f , the kestral was a bit higher at the same time. The thermometer on the restaurant read 36c so about 98f. Yes it can be sent in to be calibrated. They say no need to for 5yrs. Mine is a week old. My last run at 1:20 reads...

Kind of my thinking. I will be using the Kestrel from now on . Well because I have it. And it at least knows how hot it is outside. LOL

    What's next....I need a better 60'

I wish. It will be better this weekend but rain all weekend. It looks like it will climb again afterwards. They can't forecast anything these days. Let's hope.

    What's next....I need a better 60'

Great now I want to spend more money.🤣 I don't have an issue you know where. The other 3 tracks is a whole other story. It would be nice to get some help there.

I'm using the kestrel as accurate at Napierville for a few reasons. No nearby weather stations. All are about an hour away in or closer to Montreal. The whole reason I bought this was because of the discrepancy in temperature at track physically or on the apps which are reading 15 to 20+ f...

Others you were with are using a kestrel as info for their times. So why not us. 🤣 If it is off hopefully it's off by about the same.😀

That depends where the DA started before the 1000' I imagine. Unlike you I'm close to sea level to begin with.

It was like that here that weekend. ADO had grains at 105 humidity was in the 80% range I think and even though they had the temp at 85f I saw a thermometer at 40c in the shade so about 104f. I felt like 🤢🤮💩. The weekend before I wore my fire jacket to stay warm. LOL Love the north. 🤣🤣

Track day July 4th with Motorhead.

The instructions for the handheld did mention setting the altitude or baro as a known factor so I used the altitude knowing that for sure. After setting the altitude the DA did read different. I just can't recall the change. Even taking the Kestrel out of the equation there is often 600' +/-...

Yes the humidity and grains were lower than the last time out 2wks ago. The last time in the heat the car was warm and iat's were high. Around the 1/8 mile I could feel the car start to pull harder then it fell on it's face at the end of the track. This time it didn't do either of those.
