I've always used grease and a tight fitting round bar...pack it with grease and push bar in,(should be really tight and go in 1/4-12"), then get a hammer and smack the bar. This has worked even with rusted in pilots. Sometimes I will turn and oversized bar down to -.003 from actual hole size if...
Easiest way...Open door with key, pull hood release...get jump box or jumper cables and spare battery/second car...hook up cables to jump post points...go inside vehicle and push trunk release. It will unlock trunk and you are in!
I too am wondering about the caliper removal. I actually did not see he had "rebuilt" the calipers, thought it was just paint...that being said, if o rings were not put on/ seated correctly then it would make more sense as to root cause. Caliper would not move smoothly and Voila...above problems...
The recirculation just takes away the outside fresh air and "Recirculates" the air in the cabin. It is a manual function, possibly automatic when in Max a/c.
If you are transmitting this way, check your VSWR and make it as low as possible...<2 is desirable as this is reflected signal. For receiving, unless it is a band that prone to signal degradation from barriers, you shouldn't really notice the loss as it would be minimal.
I personally think it looks fine...as far as the wax remover...I use Kent products ACRYSOL. It removes all residue and leaves it ready to tack and paint. My go to before applying any paint.
