Def agree with this (and I'm a Chevy fan). I also just don't get when they constantly compare a 3, 4, even 700K! exotics to a Hellcat. What does that have to do with anything imho.
Not knocking your post at all to @Magnified . I actually find your stuff some of the most interesting/informative...
I've been looking through the gauge packages also. I find the virtual frustrating. Give me good old analog any day. Those #'s were done with formula. RPM = MPH X Gear Ratio X 336 divided by Tire Diameter.
Dude your car is a FREAK. Send it to a lab to be analyzed..
Agree about the plugs but I'm still skeptical about longer term wear on the E85 motors. They look pretty on tear down but they're almost too clean. It looks like a wash down to me. If that's what the plugs (and exhaust) look like, the cylinder walls have to be squeaky clean also. The squirters...
I'm actually surprised to hear that. With a 2.62 rear and a .67 8th gear overdrive you final axel ratio is like 1:75. With stock 28.7 diameter tires your turning 1536RPM at @75MPH. With 3:09's your RPM @75mph would be like 1800RPM. Higher, but both RPM's are  for a performance motor...
Funny, everything in your last two posts was talked about at my last tune with the slightly bigger 95mm throttle body. I switched back to stock TB but actually liked a higher idle and asked AJ to set higher. Its @800+ now.
Same here. Mine are black though. I gave a thumbs up to @a526051 because mods are a personal thing and I think everyone should mod a car somewhat, somewhere, somehow to there own personal taste to add a little individualism. Don't tell me the factory made a car exactly how you dreamed it. If...

I've rebuilt a few rears over the years. All pumpkin style. Early Chevy's and Ford 9's. They always have different axle lengths because of the offset pumpkin. My education on the subject was that the center section was always offset so the u-joint would stay under load...
Look real nice! Glad to see they have upgraded alloy on the CV joints. I'm not understanding the ant-wheel hop technology aspect though.("different size center shafts"). Too bad about the tranny.
I had mine wrapped @year ago. I didn't like it. The guy messed it up (not gonna go into details). So I pulled it off the next day. Brought it back and he redid it. He used some supposedly really high end stuff they use on Porsche's and OEM manufactures in strategic locations for rock chipping...
That looked interesting to me too. I just don't like the idea of anyone chopping into 14 circuits on my car. If every one is not a soldered connection and shrink wrapped it's 14 more possible problems down the road.
Agree. I use mine all the time. There's just plenty of times I need to move the car without starting to keep every thing cold and work on it. Or get it out of the garage in the am without waking everyone up. I've had nothing but manuals my whole life maybe I'm just so used to it.
It's not a bad...
Car looks great Ron. It's funny, if you look at the pic and cover the rear wheel with your finger the car looks clean and sharp with theF14's. If you cover the front and look at the factory five spoke, it looks kick ass. Either way I really like the grey wheels. I have the factory H2's black on...
