1/8 mile

I just bought my Challenge hellcat wide body. I was going thru the best times stored on the cars memory and the guy before me has the best 1/8 mile in 5.4 sec. how is that even possible. I bought it all stock. I think he did do something with the exhaust but he put it back to factory when he sold it.

5.4 in the 1/8th is moving. Im a 10.0 car and this was my latest time in crap DA.

I’ll get a picture tomorrow. They best I have tan was 7.88 98mph in the 1/8. I’m looking for street drags now

100% makes sense, while you're at it if the top speed says 202 it is a burnout for sure. Otherwise you have one of the quickest hellcats ever.

My best time was 6 a munch a go when a trooper clocked me in at 145 and wrote me up laughing all the way to and from the car after writing me a ticket for dooo ing 30 over the limit. 85 in a 55. My scrambler- dectector didn't make a peep. Nothing. Got a manditory letter from the State Da's office saying I had to show in court. Then I got a letter from the State's Da's office from the man himself. Stating me not to bother. He figured I had suntin else to do, just pay my $400 fine no points no letter to the insurance company. Thank you Mr Burke,, I will do so. I either met him. his sister, cousin, friend has a hell cat, what knot but what ever I did I must have made a good impression. Not to count my blessings yet. Good timings.

I dont trust those timers at all. My car has a 0.7 0-60 and a 1.0 0-100

That is possible because the previous owner did not know how to reset the timers after he did burnouts. Definitely a burnout time. It won’t do five second 1/8th’s. A smoky one busts up the 0-60 and the 1/8 mile easy.

RESET IT AND START OVER.

Most timers do not use the rear wheels. I would think the timers are done by GPS

It is the rear wheels. It uses those “tone rings” that are a PIA when you blow an axle. Last fall I smoked a racing set of tires one morning. Had to reset the timers, it really screws them up. The 1/4 mile held correct because I did not burn 1/4 mile worth of rubber. I won’t do it again.

Im the original owner. I do not know how to reset the timers though haha. Never really bothered me
