I have been very happy with my '18 SRT but have been thinking about trading it and ordering a new '23. This is primarily due to the likely disappearance of the 392 drivetrain in 2024. Since '23 info is not yet available I have looked at all the Dodge site '22 details assuming few changes going to 2023. My question to the group experts is what has actually changed from 2018 to 2022? Have there been mechanical or engineering improvements, option package changes, electrical / data interface updates, performance and durability improvements, if so what are they? Or, on the other hand has anything been deleted or downgraded with a negative effect on the package? TIA for all responses.

I'm pretty sure that it's mainly price.

'18 did not have the OEM integrated trailer brake controller (that came in '19). Besides that, I am not aware of any real changes other than price.

Front fascia, headlights, and dash are different in not just the 392s but all 21+ Durangos I believe.

I seem to recall they put the SRT front end on lower end models in '19 or '20.

That was actually my first thought but the price is too far out.

The dash/infotainment is different.
They refreshed this 21 and it looks a lot better than the 2018.

I've seen this on the 22's with the optional dash upgrade and like it. Will all the 23's get the 10" touch screen?
