Could someone post a picture of their hood intake bezels? I think they changed after 2019. I believe the 2020 have a grill design instead of just being open like the 2019.

Thx in advance.

Yes they are different and I don't like them better, looks better open like on the '19s. I do appreciate the extra structural support the '20s have though.

I believe the change was made due to a number of 2019 cars loss a bezel at high speed.

Someone have a pic of the 20's inserts? I assume they are more blocked off but still function fine?

Believe they are similar in design to the Hellcat hood intake and extractors.

I’ve had the 2019 inserts come loose, may need to look into the 20 inserts.

I have a 2019 and so far mine have not come loose. How did you tighten or resecure your inserts?

The drivers side popped loose on the leading edge. I pushed back down to seat the clips and it locked in.

Damn, I've been running the streets all day, giving my baby some exercize...great weather today. Going down to my garage now to check my intakes.

Had no idea about this. I do like the open intakes on my '19 Redeye. Don't intend on changing unless there is a repetitive issue.

Thanks, guys, for the heads up. Haven't seen the 2020 grilled up intakes yet.

If I am as smart as I am not Sunday at 11:48 PM. We are talking about the hood air intakes on both sides of the hood? I left the screens cover on but tok the blank ofs on t inside out. So the air can enter the above the air filter side let the air in. See rain coming put the plate back on. It sure lets alot more air in. Going to replace the head light insert blank off to let more air in. Just spray it down every month.

I will have one of these in hand tomorrow. I will take some pics for you. The 2020's have the Grill and they have a tower on the bottom where a bolt goes in to hold it in place. Kind of like a fail safe. 0503201510.jpg 0503201511.jpg

I was wrong about some things. These scoops interchange 19 and 20. So a 20 will go into a 19 car but a 19 car will not have the tower pressed into the sheetmetal under the hood for the bolt to go into and screw in to the nutsert by the center clip on the underside of the scoop. I see no reason why a 19 scoop will not fit into a 20 car as well. Also note the 2 upper clips that look like a Truss actually have a button head that snaps into a Key Hole Slot in the scoop. It's interesting how the scoop comes with those installed. To remove scoop from hood you pull forward and these clips will stay with the hood and pop out of the key hole slots. Simple, no?

I did understand you to say the 2020 bezels will fit the 2019 correct?

I beleive they 100% will. But a 19 will not have the provision for the fail safe bolt. If you look right next to the nutsert there is a silver clip (1 of 3 clips) that 19 and 20 both have.

Also be advised that right and left scoops do not interchange.
