A couple days ago our CarPlay function stop working. We connected Uconnect and did the soft reboot and it worked for awhile. Then I noted the OAT was missing and occasionally the time would also be missing. On two occasions the screen went totally black. I also noted the screen goes totally black if I press the VR button.

Out side of the VR button issue and the Carplay not working everything else seems good.

I took it to the dealership here in Tennessee this morning and they said there is a new software update in the works but it's not ready for installation yet.

Any one else having similar or like issues with their Durango?

My wife's 21 Durango has been having issues as well. Screen went blank once and she constantly has trouble getting her phone to connect Apple Carplay. I think it wigs out between wired and wireless (BT/wifi) connections.

Post up if you find any fixes...

I would have the dealer put a new head in it.

Because of several reported failures similiar or like ours, Dodge believes it's a software issue. I'll wait a week and then fire back at them.

I know she has the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but not sure what software version. She's pretty terrible about updating her software.

I'm going to take a look at it myself and screw around with the settings on the Unconnect.

Yeah, I tried looking at the settings as did the dealership. Everything looks good there. I really think it's a software issue. I just don't get why it went wack in the middle of nowhere after working perfectly for weeks.
