With the end of summer looming the cooler air is coming. So post your times!
Suppose to be in the mid 60's next weekend here so I'm planning on running my car. Really waiting on the cold October days but will take some 60's for now

Picked up some gas yesterday, racing Sunday. But really looking forward to a drop in temperature over the next couple of months.

Made it to the track today 131 Martin MI. Temps were in the 40's-50's with DA starting around -200 and ending +300. Traction was hit or miss but I was not the only one with issues. I did manage a new best 11.66@118.70 with a 1.65 60ft. I also ran a 11.69@118.39 1.67 60ft. Scale was not on but car should have been just under 4500 maybe 4480 since I have weighed it a few times. Goal was 11.5 this year so close. Maybe will will get a -500 DA before the season is done

I did make it to the track the other week but the temp crept up just before we started running, still a fun day .

No new best times today. DA was 500-650 and the car was stuck in the 11.8's. Ran a best 11.80 and ran 11.81 3 times. I did have a .002 light though

Still struggling with 60' times.
The NTO5's need to go and if I get a tire that hooks consistently I think I can make it into the 11's.
It probably wouldn't hurt if I lost 100/150 lb's.

I'm thinking if I get good hook from a good tire I should gain .2. Plus skinnies.
I have 9.5 fronts and need to get 5's.
Looking at Forgestars 17 x 11 and 18 x 5.
Hoosiers in back.

Unless you plan on running slicks, Hoosiers tallest drag radial is a 26" for the 17". I have talked to them and they said they would be making a 28" drag radial but didn't know when

I gotta drive 2 hours to get there and so I am going with the DR's.
One problem with the DR's ( at least my Nitto's) is they drive so well on the street that I usually leave them on for awhile which can result in shenanigans and jackassery.
But, I heard back from Paul @ PKauto and it sounds like I may come in around 3.2k for fronts and rears.
Although, the way things go I probably should budget an extra 500. I haven't nailed down the tires just yet.
