So the belt case off when I did a pull this morning.. it wasn’t too crazy.. I just bled into 2nd gear in track trans and sport trans and did a 3rd and 4th and let off.. after that I was trying to give it some gas in 5th in M mode not far from my house and I was like wtf it felt like a Prius.. I immediately knew something was wrong.. then the check engine light came on.. rolled it in neutral down the hill and wheeled it into my garage and shut her down.. like I mentioned looks like the couple pulleys came off.. is this an easy fix? Was there something I did wrong that may have caused this? Other than just giving her a little beans.. I didn’t over rev or anything was a few nice shifts.. was kinda unexpected tbh.. so here’s the pic/damage.. advice needed/welcomed .. I guess I’ll need a tow truck to the dealer... is it just the pulley I need or what am I in for? How long do you think it will take them to fix/order this part?? Can't really decipher anything other than just a plain old belt failure from the photos. I've heard a lot of bad things about the green belts.They have very little give. Mainly they're too stiff and harsh on snout bearings. I've switched to black (Which BTW I have installed a Litens now and they explicitly, in the directions, tell you use only a black belt). I figure I'll change the belt more frequently but it'll be fresh and avoid bearing damage and snapped belts.

Being the green belts are stiffer they are more prone to breaking. It used to rare to have a belt snap. I have had supercharger since the mid 90's and never had a belt snap. See if Napa/gates has the same size in a standard belt.

The black belts work fine with the Redeye? I’m not losing any power going to black right?

Check the idlers and make sure they all spin and one didn't freeze up. If it did you would have probably heard the belt squealing before it broke

It’ll be covered under warranty so I assume they’ll just put a new green belt on her

No squealing, stupid question can I drive her to the dealer like this? Or is a tow truck mandatory

The black belts stretch a little more so less likely to snap. If I had a Redeye, it would have a napa belt on it which are made by Gates

You can. I have driven blower cars with no belt. If you are going to take it to a dealership give them a call first and see what they recommend you to do. The other belt turns your water pump and such so there should be no issues

Can I drive her like this to the dealer Chapman? It’s 8.5 miles from my house? Or better I just get the tow?
