Ok, here's my 2nd round of thoughts on a very simple, mild/moderate, build (after cancelling the last effort due to issues with selected tuner and "life")

While the combination is likely capable of pushing the limits of the 1000cc injectors, for now, I think I want to stick with a mild tune and therefor the smaller flow units. Also keep in mind that I'm at altitude.

Tuner/Speed Shop:
  • FIC 1000 or 1200 injectors
  • Dual pumps
  • Crank pin
  • HP Tuner/credits (Have)
  • Flex tune
  • PCM unlock

Jokerz:
  • Jokerz ported S/C (already have)
  • Quick Change pulley shaft
  • Recoated rotors (maybe from another vendor)
  • New bushings
  • Powder coat lid black

CDT Rotors:
  • HCF 390-34-10H-O.E.-A 103 (1008-0576) Rev C (x2)

Fantom Motion:
  • 2.72 Pulley (Have already)
  • Polish snout, bearing plate, body
  • Fuel rail upgrade (per @16GoManGoHC2 )
  • HP Tuners mpvi2

Already in place:
  • Legmaker intake
  • S/C spacers
  • Rear diff brace

Pending/undecided:
  • Throttle body
  • Cooler Plugs???
  • BWoody heat exchanger
  • Clutch
  • D/S
  • N2O
  • Monkey on cocaine in the trunk pushing and screaming "Go Faster" "Go Faster".

There are no specific goals other than having the potential for +200-250hp, which as before, gets me to ~200mph in the Standing Mile.

What am I forgetting?
@jonx96
@16GoManGoHC2 (fuel rail reference)

Id for sure do the fic 1200s over 1000s
Even at altitude pushing a car to 200 on e85 I wouldn’t want to be cutting it close on fuel.

You can't go to big on fuel. It will only use what it needs unless it is not there to use
I went id 1300 and the tapped 1.5 which has 295 pumps instead of 285 pumps.

I agree . The 1200's are the way to go ..lots of fuel and easy to tune ..

There was a point in time where bigger injectors caused issues with drivability. But with modern tuning capabilities this isn’t an issue anymore.

I’m wondering if the aero on these things would ever let us get to 200.

When? Never heard that even in the 90's. My 87 had 800cc in it back in 99

707hp gets us to 199mph, obviously in decent DA and enough space.

The guys down at the Kennedy Space Center (2mile course) were coming right up to that.

Not that it's still running, but at the Colorado Mile, if you were running ~750bhp in a Challenger, that got you to ~200mph in the mile.

Was that what you were asking, or something different??

Wow...@ 199...it takes an extra 50 HP to break 200...would lowering the car say 2 inches have any effect @ all:unsure:
