What's an insulator box?
That plastic box attached to the passenger side fender wall. One giant power wire and a ton of smaller wires run through it, to protect them from engine heat:

And the dumbest thing they did for the power distribution center is hard wired everything, harness doesn’t unclip from under it like other challenger models

I started from the front of the car, on each side. No need to unplug the connectors from the coils. There's plenty of wire on them.

Not sure how to explain it, but instead of pulling the coils up, or down, to get them out, I rolled them out to the right. They hopped right out. Should have taken pix.

I just left all the coils out, until I was done with swapping the plugs. Then, rolled them back in one at a time. It worked for me. Your mileage may vary.
Basically what I said I would do and not unplug them

I really didn't have a lot of issues with that, I left it. When I did the headers last year we got it out of the way
