Coyotes were all over my yard the other night. Now I know why. They must have been chasing this down . I found this in my yard yesterday when I saw two big Ravens hanging around. Interesting everything has just gone for the guts. Last night it got dragged at least 20 feet. Three red tailed hawks and crows fighting over it today. Surprised no vultures yet? I know they are around as I have seen some. Maybe too cold still so smell has not traveled? The coyotes have even been around during the daytime. I got on video yesterday but can’t post for some reason?

I just checked it out again. Not a deer. It’s one of my neighbors goats. Got savaged last night. 7B8F7D34-5A61-4339-9EA3-8BECD590F63F.jpeg 7B8F7D34-5A61-4339-9EA3-8BECD590F63F.jpeg

We have Coyotes here in St. Petersburg. In 2008 the city closed a middle school and demolished it but never sold the land or rebuilt anything on it. It backs up to 2 city golf courses and then neighborhoods. A good swath of land to roam.

So weird seeing that kind of wildlife in the city limits of a big area surrounded by water on three sides too. Prompting the obvious question...how did they get there?

They are highly adaptable. They are regularly seen in Boston and even NYC! I found this out in a place I call their killing field out behind my house.

I was going to that is a very short legged dere!

And I agree Ewwww gross.

And speaking of eyes here is something that was told to me by one of our employees from Thailand.

Her favorite soup was Fish eyeball soup and she loved the feeling of when she popped them with her teeth!

As a kid That would be a dinner that I'd be sitting and having a staring contest with until my mom would say OK no dessert go to your room!

Linda :)

I have a 142 acre property with a cabin near Algonquin Park in Ontario Canada. This past weekend a pack of wolves killed a deer on the property. Blood everywhere but no bones or body. At least 8 wolf tracks then I found the leg.
