I heard...(though not confirmed)...CC bought up every ascot east of the Pecos...and plans on opening a chain of upscale men's boutiques...he's refinanced his fleet of furds...to make a go of it...

Please. I'm a little allergic to the "fleet" word.

A guy not far enough away from here (300+ miles) refers to his two Ram 1500s as a fleet.

Anyway, I don't mind a $100K ADM, as long as my trade-in value is upped by the same amount. Of course, it'll still suck to pay the first registration on it.

I agree...but the dialogue went kinda like this..so you want a Z06...the price...sticker plus 25 g's ADM...and sell yer car on the open market...I countered with I trade it in..,give me ten grand less than I paid on a trade in...and MSRP on the Z06...on the surface it may not seem like a great deal...just wait and see the crazy ADM's guys are going to be willing to spend on these...plus I'm not a patient person...I'm not waitin 2 to 3 years for one...my C8...Demon...HC...were all non ADM cars...I'.m going to have a very early non Adm Z06...trust me...I know what I'm doin

WOW. my MSRP Z06 deal was a lot simpler.

Dealership "we ONLY sell @ MSRP (all cars, since the dawn of time)."

Me: "ok, I'll pay cash."

Dealership: "Check. You are on the list."

I offered a deposit (multiple times) but he/they wouldn't take it. I talk with the guy every couple of months. Legit, above-board dealership that's been in town for decades.

The only downside is I am #25. Likely looking at NEXT summer before my turn comes. I'm fine with that. I'll let the 1st yr guys work out all the bugs!
