Dodge Charger the KING of all American Sedans damn glad I’m back in one!

The Charger is truly a blast and every bit as fun as the Challenger and in some ways more fun. The longer wheel base gives her a really nice ride and exhaust rumble in the larger interior space is more pronounced as well. The interior roominess is really nice since you have the rear door and more light interior wise with so many windows. I feel the Challenger has a more sporty feel and definitely the better sharper lines and retro. And of course the Charger is a love or hate look and modern design.

I was planning on splitting dd duties with the Charger and my ram...but we aint seein a RE charger in 2020...if ever

My thoughts are it’s still possible for the 2021 model year would be my only guess. And just to have a new option would be all for 2021. But then again just how many people are going to pay 90k for a Charger? The Hellcat Charger sales are not great snd then throw in the WB and RE package it will be a very small customer base. I would compare it to the Trackhawk sales which IMO are lousy. I weighed buying the new Daytona Charger WB before I purchased mine and basically 30k difference in price with the 19 discount and HP DOLLARS. I just can’t see 30k more for fender flares and wider tires and a sticker. And same thing goes for the RE WB Charger Dodge will just have to except these will sit until they take 20k plus off because the market has taught us this. And my selling dealer sold a 2020 Daytona WB Charger the day before I purchased mine for 84k plus tax incredible I just can’t see it. It will be worth 55k at best so a 30k loss instantly.

I am certain that I too am biased, but...
My wife and I have his and hers Hellcats. In our travels, I occasionally encounter her in her Charger HC coming around a bend. The very first thought I have is , OMG what is THAT!? (it is a striking Yellow Jacket with carbon stripes)
Second thought is, oh thats my wife.
There are great sedans in the world, but none of them..Porsche, BMW, Audi, Jaguar, Infinity, Lexus, Tesla, etc... none of them give that instant visual impact. And then, if course there is the actual driving experience. So yea I'm biased, but I think the Charger HC is the current king of all sedans.

I came up via the natural progression of go-fast 4 doors starting with the M5. The E39 from 1999 to 2003. I love choosing that car on NFS game 2002.

Then Cadillac with the CTS-V. Although Mercedes had some fast 4 door AMG cars too.

The Charger HellCat was full stop. 😂 Game over.

At 6’3 I’m cramped. My ONLY GRIPE about the car is the seating position. I have a sunroof car, so the ceiling is a little lower than without, but I can’t sit comfortably and not have my head sitting the roof. I didn’t modify the seat (which many have done) to get an extra 1/2” of adjustment, but I regret not doing it.
