I have 1 sitting in the box waiting to go on. I got the filter with it.
Where the filter go? Some people don't use it though

A true plug and play Fore system from Tapped Performance, Which unfortunately all of the four systems no matter who you buy them from is going to have the quarter tank bullshit of if you run below that we’re going to suck air because the fuel pump just hang there in the tank. Or you could look into a fuel system from Steve White Motors that uses the stock fuel tub and hangs two pumps in it which supposedly you could run the tank until almost dry and not have that fuel starvation issue. I have one but I haven’t tried it yet but I need to because my dual 285 pump system is a bit on the small side now since I’ve made a boost and injector upgrade. I’m thinking of selling my dual 285 Fore system it if you’re interested in it let me know.

I don't follow the crowd. I prefer filtering down to the microns. Just who I am.

Inlet filters are there to protect the pumps mainly, they really aren’t fine enough to protect the injectors. Plus you want to protect the injectors from any bits and debris from the pumps impellers, especially if a pump fails you don’t want to push that stuff downstream to your injectors, it’s always best to filter after the pumps. Injector Dynamics recommends a Microglass Filter after the pumps. I think ID wants a 4 micron absolute rated filter, It’s what I use now that I’m on corn especially. And yes, it’s under the car.

If someone wants to buy the filter that came with my Tapped kit let me know. I'll never install it and it's just setting in the tool box. Wish I coulda saved the $400 but they didn't offer the kit without when I got mine.

I was figuring, southern boys do that a lot, instead of making it a pain. Instead of cleaning just replace with an other. Can't be that much $$$ for filtration material. How many hours do you get out of a filter?? Cleaning would consist of washing with new gas.

Not the micro glass ones, their throw away, but only like 35 bucks, cheap insurance.
