So for the last month I’ve been contemplating life without the Hellcat. As we near winter I keep thinking about storing the car for close to six months, and I’ve been wondering if that’s a stupid thing to do again? I’ve given thought to selling the Hellcat and looking at a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT (the Trackhawk is out of my reach). The SRT JGC would be more practical, and almost as much fun. With these thoughts roaming through my brain, I decided to take the HC for a spin in some areas I haven’t taken the car before. After finding some twisty roads and a few good straight always, I walked away with a refreshed love for the car. I’m just not sure what else would give me the feeling that this car does. So I guess I’ll just cuss out winter when it gets here, and then look forward to spring of 2020. Until winter rears it’s ugly head, I’ve got a few more miles to put on this car!

I feel your pain. Although I’m not as far north as you our winters last just about as long. I LOATHE winter. Hate snow and the shoveling that comes with it after coming home from a 12 hour graveyard shift. No use for skis, snowboards or sleds here. That being said I have my fun in the sun while it lasts. Someday soon I will live in Arizona and never see a snowflake again!

Fall is my favorite time to exercise my cat...Cool crisp nites..good air...no bugs...no summer heat...that's fun time for me..cause winters here...seems like a bad case of herpes...It never ends...

Fall is boost season here in NJ. Its funny, I was the opposite, I went from the GC SRT to the HC. The GC is a great all purpose and is fine in snow. I ran the Conti DWS06 in winter with no issues.

Another way to rekindle the flame is to buy it a mod or two (appearance or go fast).

Don't know how you all do it. I would go nuts not being able to drive mine for that long.
Went November last year to May this year due to car being wrecked.

The only time I can't drive my RedEye Hellcat is one; while it is in the body shop (which it still is) and two; during a hurricane. That's Florida for you. Ha! Ha!

Now you can relate to what I and most northerners go through.
Till then, I'm off to the track to meet up with a Redeye owner and give him fits. 😀
The chores can be done later. LOL

Yep. Otherwise, I would never drive my car!

Yep, no shoveling sunshine here

Although it is opposite here in that it is so dang hot I keep my car garaged during summer and comes out for fall winter and spring. 160 degree IATs aren't good.

We won't be outta triple digit temps till October

Ouch... yeah too hot for me. I like the sun but at a reasonable 80 degrees. :)

Figured.
If you live in the south and daily drive, you drive in the rain.

The cooled seats and A/C work pretty well though :)

Same here in Vegas but I'll take the heat over rain/snow any day. Even with triple-digit temps cooling system works remarkably well on my RE. They really did some engineering on cooling. Just keep her out of track mode or you'll get no cabin air.
