For 60K what’s your 3rd Car?

Okay guys.. a little off topic discussion about general automotive.. so if you were given a 60K max Budget and you had to choose a modern car.. let’s say post 1990.. and you already have your Hellcat or Demon/ SRT in your stable and your Truck. So you can buy new or used with that amount of $ but you have to spend it all. You can’t keep any! Haha.. and it has to be A Car. Most likely a car you Drive for fun on the street. So it has some relatively compliant suspension. We can include the C8 vette. Anyways let’s hear your ideas! You can spend any extra $ on lesser costing vehicles to explain how’d you modify the vehicle instead of per say buying Brand New.

I’m interested in potentially a New Toyota Supra.. I like the fact that it has the Zf 8 speed. Not sure if I’d fit inside the thing though. Personally I like the looks. But maybe 2021 a manual will appear and that might be a better drivers car. Hmm.. also been thinking about Vipers, gen 3.. the C8 vette is interesting... what you folks think?

This very second, with the rest of the stable intact, maybe a 2017 MB AMG GLS 550 with 27,000 on the clock or maybe a 2016 AMG S550 with 13,000 on the odo. Just something I happened to think about, not something I"m hooked on.

She is a blast and really squirrely especially the back end is super light. She’s definitely fast and the sport mode gives you the active exhaust burps. She gets 10 times the attention of any car I have ever owned. It’s a world known car so everyone is knowledgeable about her. The interior room head wise is big a 6’ plus person no issue. She will hold her value so if you play with her for a year or two you will be able to sell her for good money as well. I think the first year C8 is a mistake I’ll sit it out and wait a few years for the refinement and glitches and better pricing.

Toyota is not going to do a manual in that car. I'll bet a small amount of money on it. Won't make sense from the supply chain, maintenance infrastructure, overall investment stand point and will degrade the cars performance. Pretty amazing, but it's true now.

She’s a premium edition and I paid retail which I believe without getting the paperwork out was roughly 54- 55k.

Something to think about is don’t get the same kick in the ass grunt power. Otherwise when you jump in HC the feeling will change and your gonna want even more power lol. I sold my 2015 Corvette Stingray Z51 package shortly after buying my first Hellcat. When I’d jump in the vette I was like where’s the power lol.

I just recently picked up a Toyota Avalon TRD version first time ever offered. She is a really fun car that gives you a sports car feel even though she’s a sedan. And she’s got 300 Hp and moves down the road but she ain’t a HC feel which I like. She’s fun and practical with 30mpg and under 40k discounted. When I jump in my Redeye it’s always a new powerful feeling which brings smiles to miles of driving,
