Jean-Philippe Imparato has the quality that he can come across very clearly. That's nice, because when we wrote that there was talk in the corridors about an evolution of the Giorgio platform within the future production schedule of Stellantis, there were many who did not take that fact from us. After all, Giorgio's days are numbered. The truth appears to lie in the middle and our report is somewhat out of the blue. With our more than 12 years of experience at AutoEdizione, we have once again looked at the right angle in terms of information. Only the fact that STLA Large and 'Giorgio-Evo' are not one and the same, turned out to be a misinterpretation on our part, for which excuse.

From Balocco, Imparato thus largely confirmed what we already wrote last week. The innovative Giorgio platform is not a short-term Italian work of art. There will be new variants, all from Cassino. It will continue to be used by Alfa Romeo and even through electrification. Cassino remains the main basis in this regard, given the expertise at work there. Cassino is, as it were, the new Arese for Alfa Romeo.

Alfa Romeo must start to make a profit, but it will mainly be able to do this thanks to its commitment to high quality, according to Imparato.
