So I noticed today that after shutting off the car I could hear the regular suction sound from the intake but it followed by a gurgle/grunt that lasted a second (best description I can give) from the air intake. It’s a 2019 with 5500 miles. Not sure if it’s normal or not.

Thanks in advance.

Update: found a thread with a video link of the same sound. Flash/Tune update needed.

A 2019?
Don't know if I have noticed that on mine, but requiring a flash/ tune on a new car?
I would take to dealership before flushing warranty.

Was the 2019’s involved in the cat recall? Sounds like the sound some were making after the flash update was done on them before they updated the flash.

I don't know of a recall on 2019's.

I just looked back. It was the V86 recall. I remember a member on here had issues with back pressure on the throttle body butterfly after shutdown which caused a weird noise. I don’t think the 2019’s were part of the recall but perhaps he has a bad flash

I’m at the dealer gettin an oil change and seeing if they can plug in and look to see if an update is needed. A 2020 Redeye comes in for its first service and I ask the guy if he can start and stop the engine for me so I can listen and it does the exact same thing.

I feel like that gurgle sound is normal for the 2.7 supercharger and maybe something to do with the super chiller system...

I’ll update here shortly if they mention anything about the flash/tune.

So they did a PCM update and it’s still there. I think it’s normal.

See on the bottom where it says Flashed PCM
