I have had my cat for almost a year now and the one thing that gets to my OCD is the HC fender emblem on the right side is not positioned correctly. I want to know can it be removed, then repositioned again? Or do I have to buy a brand new one? If it can be reused, what kind of adhesive do I need? Thanks all :)

My right side fell off and it would not go back on. I had to buy new one.

If it were me, I'd buy a new factory piece (that comes with the die-cut adhesive)

While using fishing line will get the old piece off, I can't imagine getting new adhesive onto the old unit in a successful way

Fishing line or dental floss for removal. Wd-40 for tape residue. New part as instructed above. All pretty simple.

Agree with Bull. Throw a little heat at it to soften the adhesive and use some dental floss to get the emblem off. Possibly you could clean the old adhesive off the emblem and pick up some adhesive from the local parts store but buying a new one would probably be the cleanest.

X2 !!

I have successfully put 3M adhesive on the back of mostly solid badging, but it took a lot of patience to get it right.
Can't imagine trying on something as intricate as the Hellcat head, much, much easier & cleaner to just buy new.

You can get cheap plastic emblems at Amazon for about 5-10 bucks with adhesive on it.
Fishing line to remove.

I believe the guy who buffed my car nailed it accidentaly. Don't think it was Dodges fault.

Your car is trying to tell you to get rid of the damn badges.

The fender ones are very easy, as is the rear one. The one in the grille is a bit trickier.

The problem is obvious. Whoever owned your car before bought an emblum instead of an emblem. They look almost the same but are just different enough to drive some of us nuts every time we look at it…

It was a year and a half ago. True, all prices have gone up a lot in the automotive business. Clutches for our Allison rebuilds have tripled in price. The big problem is we can't get them as they are not being manufactured. Everything is on back order. We can't even get the chinese shit because we have 150 cargo ships sitting dormant off the LosAngeles harbor waiting to get unloaded.

Amazing how much badging costs. I cracked up the tailgate on my Ram (it helps to remember to close it before you back up the trailer😳) and was looking at the prices for the various badges on it. Not cheap.
