The day has finally come!

Picked up my redeye today from Bowling Green, KY. Immediately drove south an hour and a half for some XPel goodness tomorrow, outside Nashville, TN. Once that's installed and dry, driving to VA on Thursday.

Due to the on and off hard rain all the way down here, I mostly kept the car in ecomode, to keep any really hard hits at bay (and losing control on its maiden voyage). Even in ecomode, on ramps are fun. can't wait until the 500 mile break in period is over and can really feel what the car is capable of.

Even though I've only been out of a challenger for 7 months, it feels really good to behind the wheel of one again. This feels so much tighter and well put together than my 09 RT (but Daisy will always be my first).

these are all the pics I have at the moment, car is currently in Eric's shop for an early start on PFF.

Yes, the front lip protector was off before I left the dealership. They were a little confused, as most people like to keep them on.

I took delivery June 15 and drove 217 miles home. As of yesterday I have 1137 miles on my WBHC. I can't stay out of the seat! These are absolutely addictive.
The blue you chose is a fantastic color especially with the wide body. You'll find yourself winding down from the constant apprehension you experienced while waiting for the car. I'm betting you will want to keep it pristine but will not be able to keep it in the garage. These cars are made to be driven and so drive it. The more you do the more you will.

By the time I get home tomorrow, I should have about 800 miles on her. You're right, I don't think this can be a garage queen for me. I doubt I'll put massive miles on her, but I'll find excuses to go drive.

My color choice was between frostbite and octane. I saw both in person at koons a few months ago and while it was still a tough choice, frostbite won me over (the wife too)!
