How difficult is it to remove the factory deck stripes and other things (like the large Hellcat logo on the rear quarters)?

Found one Charger I like, a little too expensive.

Found a Charger I like, except for the deck stripes and roaring HC on the rear quarters). Can these be removed easily? Even so, do you typically find gross differences between the areas that were covered and the surrounding paint?

A hair dryer and one of those eraser wheels will be your friends.

Of course, if your lucky those cat skulls are on the rear doors, in which case you can just remove them.

@Magnified, need help finding the ignore button? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂.

I have removed some badges and replaced. Fishing line and hair dryer worked great. Maybe some adhesive removal as well...one of the badges the glue didn't want to come off.

How many miles? How much over is it? Fingers crossed. I know you are missing your Charger.

A lot depends on the color, how long the stripes have been on, where (and how well) it's been kept & if it was left out or garaged.

A 2 yr old white car from OH or MI, garaged & kept clean would probably not leave any tell tale signs.
A 5 yr old black car left out in FL or AZ you're gonna see the difference !!

Here's what I'm talking about... Would love just a plain white Charger... but the stripes, and over the top cat heads on the side. Yee.

Little too much (for me as well). Stripes look good though. What @MikeD1 said about the environment it has been in. Looks good.

I would do hair dryer along the stripes as you peel off. No experience though.

I could live with the stripes, but that cat head would have to go. Being white and the cat never getting direct overhead sun makes getting complete removal likely, imo.

I have the stripes on mine, would not have ordered it that way but they have grown on me. Not a fan of the giant cat heads, that would have to go. On the fence with the SRT, but I'd probably peel that as well. Since it's white & looks well kept I'd say you have a very good chance there will be no 'shadow' left behind unless they had ceramic applied after putting the head on.

I'd plan on a pro paint prep/correction after just to make sure it blends.

After the stickers are removed, use Goo Gone, to remove the sticker residue. It is Naptha based and will not damage the paint.

DO NOT use Goof Off. That shit is Acetone and will destroy your paint.

As an alternative to Goo Gone, use Coleman white gas, or Ronson lighter fluid (both Naptha based).

I think Magnified likes the stickers and is just trying to make us think that he wants to remove them, but can't.

Those decals 99% of the time will leave shadows and many times an imprint in the paint unless they were just put on.
