So how many of you have seen 700hp and over on the SRT Page. Anything over 600 and I have to change my underwear if I dont back off.
TIA

Bob

697, but that's really good given my altitude.

It was really cold that day, too cold to be driving on the Summer tires.

Normally I'm lucky to see mid 600s.

Yeah, that's another thing that not everyone gets...

You're only going to see peak HP for a single moment, right before you shift, and then it's gone again.

It's not like the engine develops it just because you mash the Go stick.

When I romp on mine! I'm to busy looking out the windshield to be able to tell what the gauge shows. It needs a peak marker. that you can reset.

I had a recall gauge in my '87 mustang. I would always look at it after a pull to see what it hit

I meant boost gauge with a recall. Any time you get into a car it is easy to not look at gauges

And not real safe when at high speeds, and the gauge is below dash level.

The highest I have seen on my gauge is 723 hp and 657 torque.

Because I am computer illiterate, not sure how to post a screen shot of 717, when my kids come over I'll ask them to help.

Love giving people rides and let them see over 700 hp, quite a thrill and too much fun!

That must have been the SVO version, turbo 4 cylinder, pretty quick car for the time. I also bought new in 87 but opted for the 302 GT.
The Grand national, mustang GT, SVO, or Vette were the American performance line up for that year

Actually it was an '87 5.0 with a Vortech. Being they make more boost the higher you spin them, every time I got into it I would hit the recall so I could see how much boost it made. Unless you are thinking of watching something, at least me, I go and forget to look at stuff. A recall button on EVERYTHING is what I need!

Had a twin turbo Supra that was wicked fast. Went to the Keys to fish for a week. Got back and ex wife traded it in for a MR2. Filed for divorce the next week.

Heads up display does not work with poloroid sunglasses.
