I was planning to run a staggered set-up, (9.5x20 and 10.5 or 11.0x20) for summer and put winter tires on the stock SP wheels.

The car will be street-driven only.

Is it worth it, or just stick with a square set-up?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

It's worth it to me. Looks killer and a bit more traction. Can't rotate the tires obviously and I've been through 3 sets of rear tires and still on the original fronts LOL.

I run 10's on front, and 11.5's on rear.
Worth it to me.

I have stock tires/wheels up front, 305/10.5s in the rear. Balance feels unchanged, better rear grip. Definitely worth it to me!

I felt it was definitely worth it, and I only had a 392.

Yep. Did it on my ‘15 and also my REWB. I think it also makes them look more retro.

Worth it to me.
I also have the little devil fender flares, which allows for the wider tires.

Way back when I had my ’11 Challenger SRT8, it had a staggered setup from the factory. And they were directional summer tires so you couldnt do anything with them. So you buy new more often….

I have noted your setup before. Looks really good. With tires beyond stock fender margin, is there any condition or worry that the tire will scrape with suspension travel?

Even though I have mopar springs, I have no scrape.
Also, Biz at @TRIUMPH worked with Bill at Phillips Performance Fender Flares to come up with an offset on wheels so their wouldn't be an issue with inner wheel well rub.
When I had eibachs on I did get a scrape on bumpy roads, but also had aftermarket 10.5's on rear and was using a 20x35x305/315
I am now using a 20x30x335

For those of you running staggered F&R wheels, are you running the same tire all around? (i.e. same exact tire model, but different size). Or have you put different on the fronts and rear? Not talking about drag only applications.

I have PS4S on the rear and Cup 2 on the front. I needed/wanted the front size that the PS4S don’t come in. It all works just fine, at least with that combo for me. The car is not a DD and in some strange emergency if I wanted to drive in the wet, I have the OEM wheels fitted with my Pirelli PZero’s.

I have Nitto 555G2's up front (275/40/20) and Nitto NT05R's out back (315/35/20's) on staggered 9.5's and 10.5's. Handles and drives perfectly. When the NT05's are done I'll put the 555IIR's in the rear. As long as you have radial's to radial's (esp. if same manufacturer) and not mixing winter to summer or truck (extra plies) or something unusual it'll be fine.

I have this ^^^^^^^^ too. All except my rears are 305's 555r's. Works really well on the street and definitely worth it. Changing to 555RII's for the back next also.

I run a 15x10 with a 315/60 on the rear and a 18x5 on the front. Should that be considered staggered? I like it 😙 3526F15F-31AD-48F4-B87E-9A96C947F821.jpeg
