Okay I just was reading and watching how easy it is to steal these. What is a good (easy and effective) wire to splice to kill it?

I know it isn't what you're asking for, but there is that new software upgrade for two step auth where you have to enter a PIN before you start your car.

I don't have it myself so I don't know the details.

I don't have it myself so I don't know the details.
That is special. Mine did an upgrade last week, but I’ll be damn if it outlined any new items available.

If we cannot figure out something, I’ll get a meter out Saturday and there has to be a few sensors and switches that have to fall into place before that ignition fires. I’ll find something.

One of the primary ways they steal these is plugging in a tablet to the OBD2 port, start it, and drive away. We put a dummy plug in the stock spot and pushed the original plug up into the dash where it would be hard to find.

You can turn off passive entry or keep your fobs in a metal box or faraday bag when not in use to avoid someone spoofing your fob or using a device to extend it's range when you're away from the car.

A member on here makes a plate to cover the neutral pull strap next to the shifter on Challengers (Charger version coming too). Then they can't pop it into neutral and roll it down the street. You'll have to search, I can't remember their screen name at the moment.

I'm not sure the 2 step authentication software is available yet.

If they want it bad enough, they'll find a way to get it. But theives are generally lazy, so hopefully these measures will make it difficult enough for them to move on to an easier target.

A thread on this a while back, said to unclick the remote start in the settings, don't think that will be good tho in all cases of theft.
What about the crooked tow truck guy ?

Beat me to the punch. I showed that feature to my nephew (he has a vette) just the day before yesterday when he got in my car. He couldn't believe it. The problem with the plate is, I find myself needing to use this feature all the time when I'm working on the car (most times you do not want it hot when working on it, so I find myself jockeying the car in neutral a lot.)

I absolutely agree though that any deterrent is worthwhile and yes I'd like to and prob will put a kill switch on mine.
