I stopped by there last year - it is an impressive museum!!

Looks a lot like Don Garlits’ Museum of Drag Racing in Ocala, FL. Back in the 80’s, he called it the Hemi Museum. My wife and I met him at the last car show he had. He is real hard of hearing but approachable. Still around but definitely getting frail.

Most of the museum had a very wide range of material from early speed stuff to Indy car to drag racing to classic car - I just liked the drag racing and Mopar stuff in particular.
I have been to the Don Garlits museum - I highly recommend that one as well (like I said - I like the hot rod and drag racing stuff)

We met him 40 years ago at the Chicago Auto Show, (which used to be great). He was a very down-to-earth guy. You could ask him anything and he wouldn't BS you.
