New Personal Best

Hey fellas, not new to the forum but I don’t post much content. My apologies! I’ll try and do better in the future. Got some down time due to weather and figured I would post my new personal best. Orange Crush ran a 10.17 at 132 mph with a 1.48 60ft. My only mods are B Mason 93 tune, 3.09 diff, K&N Filter in the stock air box, Forgestar drag pack and M/T ET Street R’s 305x45x17. My car is identical to Brian’s except I run a stock driveshaft and I have full interior. I was at Houston Raceway Park on Jan 28, 2022 with my best friends Robert aka Mean Cat and my tuner, Brian Mason. All of us broke our personal best times that night. Mean Cat ran the 9.71 at 140 and Brian ran a 10.08 at 133. It was a good time for sure.

I m to chicken shit to take mine to the track with a stock driveshaft & its completely stock
Plus I m anal & don t want it get the paint marked / chipped

I hear ya! I have been running a stock driveshaft for quite some time now and no problems. It is one out of a 2018 and my understanding is that the 2018 and up has been improved over 2017 and down. I am at stock boost level though. 93 tune, tires and 3.09 diff. That’s it. The 3.09 really helps these cars especially at stock boost level. Heavy ass car has got to get moving! My car weighed 4485 with me in it. She ain’t no lightweight that’s for sure.

I've been trying to get that big girl on a diet , that's all she needs to run 10.0's + good DA.

You have a 100 lbs on me but I have a TAXI. I found the 3.09 are worth about a tenth through my testing last year

I wish I believed I would get a tenth quicker.
At somewhere around $2500 for a new one here. I will stick with what I know.😉

How much did your 60' improve and to what? Just curious.
