The last time I was in a Camaro, I hated it, my skin was crawling, I couldn't wait to get out.

Visibility sucked, interior sucked.

I didn't feel like I was in a real car.

I'm so glad I not only didn't pick it, I didn't pick the Vette either.

I found the car that fits ME, simple muscle car. Not all of that flashy, garish shit hanging off of the grill.

Motor trend has been doing this same matchup since 2015, they can’t gave all the glory to the hellcat every time. Lieberman must like it cause he bought one, red charger HC. That says a lot being that he has the opportunity to experience so many cars

I really don’t want a car that’s more refined and sophisticated than my HC. I’ll take pizza and beer over champagne and caviar, any day.

I got a chance to drive my friend's 911 GTS last week. You have to respect its capabilities and refinement. But, for me, it somehow does not check the giddy fun box that the HC does. Sounds like the reviewers felt similarly about the Camaro. I think with the lights out and nobody watching, they would both have picked the HC.

I think you hit it on the head!! I am not looking for refined, I am looking for shear enjoyment to drive. Why does that mean it has to be "refined"? The Hellcat is exactly the car I want!!!
(Although compared to the 70's muscle cars I have owned/ driven - the Hellcat is beyond "refined" with those that I have to compare to)
I drive 80s shit boxes and the HC is leap years ahead. However, in the contemporary sense the HC is perfectly imperfect. Its flaws and limitations give it real character and personality.

Oh, and the reason why HCs don't spin out? It is the extra 3 to 6 inches of wheelbase over a Mustang or Camaro... less prone to rotate like a SMART car.

I can't get past the Normandy bunker visibility. Just can't do it. That is problem number one for that car in my personal opinion.

Just watched it last night...before I even knew someone posted about this. I've never watched these two guys before this, so I don't know their history. My take....they beat the crap out of both cars doing their silly "timed" burnouts which proved absolutely nothing. The guy driving the ZL1 when they were drifting the cars, most likely killed both the front and rear brakes. That's the kind of stuff we used to do to junky cars when we were kids that still ran good enough to drive down to the shredder.

There's only a couple things they did with the cars that really proved where each car shined....the drag race, and driving them through the mountains on the 2 lane windy roads. They said a lot of positive things about both cars along with a few negatives (which is good). - but - if they did a little less Road Kill type stuff I might take them more seriously.

Lieberman only knows how to floor it - I don't think I"ve ever seen them use the mode selector or feather the throttle or anything like that. In the "fasted ten cars competition" or whatever they do, they just floored it and let it smoke, so it was last. No Jonny is all right but I write as well as he does and am more impartial, better looking, have better breath, etc... so I should have his job. I just don't have the hipster look.

The modern Camaro is such a forgettable looking car. I hate the skinny headlight look. It’s the Camry of Musclecars.
