I just purchased a 2021 DDSRT with 8K miles on it. This purchase was to replace a 2018 that was stolen in February. After driving the 2021 for a few days and making a few spirited runs it seams lacking in the power vs my 2018. Most notable from a dig with launch control. With my 2018 using launch control the brakes wouldn't hold it still unless I was really hammering the brake pedal and on a few with colder weather I was able to muster out a 0-60 right at 4.0 The new 2021 baseline is 4.6 0-60 and it just doesn't pull like my 2018 out of the hole.

As an FYI, the previous owner added Carven exhaust, looks like mid muffler delete and new rear mufflers/tips.

Is it possible that the tune on the new Durango is lacking something? Is there something I should be looking at to get this to the level of my 2018 Keep in mind, I would rather not void my warranty.

Even if I sell you a new pcm I still to not guarantee your warranty or nor should anyone. No you will not tune one without the potential voiding of warranty. With that being said feel free to reach out for all of your warranty voiding needs.

If there's any reducing in pipe size from stock it could be a restriction in the exhaust causing a very slight power loss. Ours is a stock 18 and runs pretty consistent 4.4 0-60's so you may have had a unicorn. Did you try running the 21 in the same cold temps you ran the 18 in?

I have an 2005 Chrysler 300 SRT-8 6.1 also, is there a tune you offer for that car? Also, couldn’t find the remote tune 101 information on your site that explains the process.

35 months. Just do it. I put a blower on a 6 month old car. You don't need no stinking warranty :p

Shit, I do have a spare 2.4L SC in the shed, I will be within one hour of SDG next week and it would be real easy to drop it off. Quit tempting me, because I tried a 0-60 today and it sucked wind.:devilish:

The new ‘23 Rango with 1000 miles using launch control and a mild throttle initially. 4.2 sec 0-60 seemed fairly easy for it. 32 degrees outside this morning. So you guys with slippery tires better watch it with the Hellcats! These things may kick your butt!

The 392 paired to the A8 is no slouch! My old Scat Pack was quick and mean, could really put the 3.09 axle ratio to work. First 4 gears go by quick and you are at 100 mph right now!

It does shift a lot, and quick, seems like more than the Challenger. I just kept it in default mode this morning. So it could maybe do just a bit better. We know if your not careful with a Hellcat breaking four seconds is tough, huh?

Made a difference. Did just a quick brake start the other day, and it was over five seconds! I don't know what the button does but something is different when it is used apparently. Try it and let us know. I was surprised at the difference.

Oh yeah the first two gears on these cars can be a wild and inconsistent ride, but fun!
