This vid has a good look at them. On the plus side they are designed to be indestructible, but, on the minus side will probably be a lot of extra unsprung weight over aluminum.

I like them but unfortunately they don’t fit over our brakes.

That doesn't make any sense (the LEO brakes, not the wheels not fitting)

Those aren't even the smaller 4-pot Brembo brakes, those appear to be ONLY the "V8 Performance brakes" which is on a 345mm * 22mm front rotor.

Getto calipers, rotors and pads... Now I know how to get an LEO to stop chasing me. Make him brake hard several times. He'll fade his brakes and have to bow out...

(Who am I kidding, I've never run from the law...):rolleyes:

You jest but I was a LEO from 1990-2001 before I went FED. I had both the Caprice and Vic as a squad and in the city the brakes would fade so bad after about 2-3 minutes of hard driving it was impossible to stop. We replaced the pads and rotors every month. The would go straight to the floor after a few minutes of “spirited” driving.

I ran once before too, I was 24ish, I was already at speed (~100) and he came off the shoulder after me. I hammered down and got away at ~130-140.

'Slid into the garage and thought how stupid that was...

I've since outgrown that kind of behavior.

(NO, I REALLY HAVE!)

Well there’s the problem, they should have been replacing the brake fluid to something high temp.
