How much does it cost at the news stand? The price of the car magazines are getting up there. I’ve seen more than one in the grocery store that I might like but pass on them because of the cost. The publishers can rationalize it any way they want but higher prices, less sales means less revenue. Less revenue means less paid employees and more cutting costs.

I don’t know. I’ve had a subscription for years. I think I’m paying like $25 a year. Lots of Mopar content this month. i.e. Geoff Turk’s F/X Challenger. He’s predicting 6.50s. Still worth $2 an issue to me.

I looked for one and couldn’t find it. Might have been where my subscription label is printed. They don’t use stickers anymore.

You haven't been in a grocery store or any other kind of store in the last few years, have you?

I get lots of magazines delivered, mostly car and firearm mags but I still get MAD magazine!
Most are way cheaper than you would think. It amazes me that they can still print and mail them for what they charge. Just my .02

There used to be great deals online. I was getting all the new car mags like car and driver for $5 a year each. I may only page through them once but for like $.50 an issue who cares. I had hot rod once or twice and it was under $10 a year

The new mags are turning into ev everything so I only have car and driver until next year now. I get race pages NMCA/NMRA for $10 a year

To me a mag needs to be paper. You can pick it up anywhere and page through it. I have no interest reading it online and in some cases you cant

I don't anymore. Used to have subscriptions to a few different ones when I was a kid and bought others at the newsstand. Damn, they're gone too.

I used to have 5-6 concurrent subscriptions at one point… I’d get through them all before the next month was out. The internet changed things for me when instead of looking at pictures of cars and reading about the builder’s journey - I could go to YouTube and watch them build it, as much or as little of the build as I wanted. Some of my favorite contributors have their own YouTube channels… it’s much more accessible and comprehensive than in print.

I still get Mopar Action, Mopar Collector's Guide, Hemmings Muscle Machines and tere's one other Mopar magazine...I'd much rather read the magazines than watch videos online. Too many self-important douchebags that go on and on with the camera pointed at them and I don't ever want to see another video that starts "Hey, guys...".
