So I’ve built the TRX online multiple times, and I’ve watched a few YouTube videos, but I can’t help but feel like it’s just ok. Am I the only one feeling like this?

What do you mean by ok?

I think it’s the styling. Something about it just doesn’t wow me. I love the power and all the creature comfort features. I do like it in silver, but in other colors I don’t go WOW! I’m not sure what it is. I just feel like Ram held back a little. Maybe after I see one in person I’ll change my mind. I just don’t know if it’s $20,000 nicer than my Raptor?

They will definitely refine it and probably sell it at a lower price 3 years from now. Enjoy your Raptor for now. I have a Landcruiser that I love but wish it had more power, one of these TRXs may be in my future but just like the Hellcat they will only get better and cheaper. I think it looks really good though overall and would take red for sure then blue. If the world was about to end I would want to be driving one of these, of course you would run out of gas on the first day LOL

As I look at the TRX closer, if it was the same price as the Raptor, I think I’d have less hesitance. If Ram discounts these in the future, I may change me mind. I do love the Hellcat!

I think it looks pretty great. Like a Rebel on steroids, just as I figured it would. I do think they could use some more exciting colors for it like the Charger/Challenger. It is a bit pricey though.

I was initially pretty keen but not so sure now. I've got the air suspension on my Rebel which I like as it makes it easy to get things in and out of the bed and I don't do off roading so have no need of the TRX suspension. I like the power but I could fit twin turbos cheaper than trading up, the wide body looks great but its a lot of cash.

Too early to tell and come to closure for me. And it’s just crazy how the dollar value just keeps climbing and climbing. The good news imo is Ford will for sure match this so it will imo make the pricing hopefully more competitive. And one thing I notice when I drive my big trucks and especially fast is they are a lot to handle. And until your doing the 90-100 mph stints and have to brake extremely hard and move her around you get it. So yeah I am sure the take off exhilaration and just awesome torque will be nice. But damn if you own a recent Diesel which I do and have and your rolling down the road and you nail it the torque is awesome. So I am not so sure in a big ass truck like the TRX your really going to get the kick in the pants your expecting. To the point I live behind the wheel of my cars, suvs, trucks every day and drive 150-200 miles each time. And when I nail my Hellcats their pretty bad ass but I am above that feel now and it’s not like it was so many years ago. And as some have posted in threads my Hellcat feels slow lol. Yeah not saying she’s slow but i think a lot of us have outgrown the kick in the pants sensation and or at least I have. And last week up to today I have been driving my Charger Hellcat and yeah I have smoked many of cars and she just coasts down the road like nothing and hits 100 plus like nothing. But I guess for me I have grown into the power and feel she needs more lol.

@ChargerChallenger you‘re one of the reasons I bought my Raptor. I guess time will tell if I change my mind on the TRX.

Youre def not alone. On paper it should be a beast but it looks - well OK.
It’s the styling. It's blah. Def looks like a bigger Ford Ranger. For what you have to pay it should really wow you to look at and this certainly does not. Maybe in real life...

I will buy that trx if something doesn’t win me over by summer next year.

I could have got my hands on a launch model, but there’s no way I could spend 100k on toy truck.

if I was gonna spend that kind of money, I would just got a full tilt loaded 3500 dually, with all the trimmings for mid 80’s

If I coulda bought the trx for 75k I would be in with both feet. I would have even gonna $82-84 because I wanted it so bad.

but 100k. Just out of principal, no way.

OK is meant if something is better like "my corvette is OK but my Hellcat is AWESOME" So now we know how to refer to OK, how can we use OK against another truck....YOU CAN'T!. Thus the TRX can never be used as OK because there isn't another truck better:p

Funny...I have this mental block of spending 6 figures for a vehicle...any vehicle...
