So... @DGatzby discovered that the Razor's edge/StolenLogix billet rear links pull the bar down so far it hits the AAD upper arm on full compression.

Granted it's a condition that most will never see...but still a concern.

I have a bit of the opposite problem in that I need to pull it in with a shorter link for my forgestar.

I'd like to find a happy medium. I plan to do all the rear arms at some point. Possibly this year. I dont want any interference.

He measured a set of either the Razor's Edge or the adjustables that he has on hand and they were 8.25" center to center.

UPR measures 8.375" completely closed on their adjustables.

Does anyone have a measurement for the more common ones like HHP, Bwoody, etc to compare?

I'd like to find something that will clear both.

Otherwise...AAD is going to be releasing a new style sway bar end link to bolt directly to their toe links for as small as a 15" wheel according to the email i got today.

You and me both may just as well wait for that. He just needs to get that sway bar a bit higher than that 8.25” length to clear his own part. I just want more meat than the pathetic OEM unit’s have.

Does anyone have that UPR link installed with AAD?

Also...does anyone happen to have a stock one or quick access to one to measure the length from center to center?

I think with numbers from a stock one, UPR and the Razor's Edge one we could come up with something that would work in the meantime.

I'm not a fan of adjustable ones either overall...but if that's what we need to do...so be it.

I was thinking they were an option.

Did you do the shorter ones? Happen to remember the difference?

They're next on the email list...so if not that's not a big deal...

Only suspension part changed is the end links. I used them on my Daytona for the same reason so they were installed on the Hellcat

I am gonna take a shot on the Bwoody links.

From what I can gather from speedy's 60ft thread they should not interfere. Older sales pages indicate they are 1" shorter than stock which should put them in the 9.0-9.25" range.

HHP shorter rear links should also be 1" shorter than stock for those interested in a shortened factory link. Cant remember the user right now...think it is @16GoManGoHC2 that used those with the StolenLogix AAD knockoff arms and reported no interference thus far.

0.75” - 1” longer and you have to be home free. I bet at about even at 1/2” longer that would be enough.

I messed up my people here.

@16GoManGoHC2 used bwoody without interference with his SL AAD knockoff arms with no reported interference so far... and there is another user @NJ_Redeye that used HHP shortened links with a full AAD install and hasn't reported any interference yet.

Both of these links should clear at this time pending further feedback and road testing.

EDIT: @NJ_Redeye has posted pictures verifying interference with the AAD arms when using the HHP shortened stock end links. See below.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Next time the wheels are off after some aggressive cornering or road driving I'd take a peek to see if either the sway or AAD arm closest is marked at all. Contact will be noticable if so.

I'm hoping my Bwoody ship early in the week so I can have them sometime on days off.

Ouch. That's rough and the one looks worse than @DGatzby even though the HHP links should be longer than the StolenLogix pieces he had.

It really isnt looking good for options at this point.

Some of the thinner steel arms may not have this interference.

Also interesting to note is that AAD hasn't seen a widespread issue when running shorter links.

I would also contact them to report your findings so they are aware.

Agree, looks like one is moving across the other. You guys are drag racing or just driving down the street and made that happen?

Mine is both, Drag racing- Line lock, burnout, run it out the back door,. Street driving->usually myself and wife, no street racing, but faster than usual to get where we are going, no weving in and out shit just at speed usually. Sending over to AAD today. Thanks

Beginning to wonder if perhaps excessive lateral movement in the sway bar could be contributing to the extent of the contact?

I will probably try to center mine and clamp some locks on if i can get to the bushings.

Interesting mine has not done line lock or burnout. But you can say mine did the rest of it plus very excessive corner energy. Mine got a bit worse than that picture but it made the divot a little deeper. I’ll shoot a pic this mid-week. I am going to put it up and try to put on the AAD toe arms myself, the BMR toe arms make a couple different kinds of racket on the street back there. I have had enough of it.
