Maybe this has been posted before but is the air filter on the RE wet or dry? The manual is unclear.

I took mine out and replaced it with a Demon crate racing filter. It does have a better sound and I’m sure a performance increase.

I do believe it is. Am I wrong?
I am confused.
By wet, do you mean water resistant, or water resistant sock?

I mean I can clean and reuse. As far as driving in the rain....no, hell no, never, not gonna happen.

I think he's asking if that car has the oiled or dry filter.

In the Demon supplement it says that the filter needs to be oiled after you have cleaned it and it is dry.
Here's the link and it's on page 22 of the supplement.

I'm not sure if your manual will list a different p/n for the service kit if you have the dry filter.

I'll check the manual again I don't think I have the demon supplement

I think they have moved away from the oiled filter in production cars now (I reserve the right to be wrong). I put a Mopar CAI on my 1320 and it came with the oiled filter. I tried to buy the filter service kit (which is the same one listed in the Demon supplement) and it shows that it's been discontinued by Chrysler. They make the same filter in a dry version, so I got one of those so that I don't have to mess around with the oiled one.
