God, I remember wanting this car so bad when I was younger...

Funny, things that looked so cool in the 80's you look at now and say. What ???. Like balloon pants or the hair cut on the band 'flock of seagulls'. The 80's were a great time though. I miss'm fur sure. LOL

But yea, it will be temporary. I plan on removing it when not in use.

If you drive your 'Cat properly, that roof rack wouldn't stand a chance hanging on.
It'd be temporary whether you want it to or not.

Bur seriously, if you do get a roof rack, get one that matches the splitter guards.
