Suprised you can't see reflections of @BULL with his glow sticks dancing in the background...
Point one, it's far better than the conversation that it replaced, and the machine is essentially silent, so no cool machinery sounds from a traditional milling operation, say like from an insert cutter.


Point two, that video might be shown at future company Christmas parties.

Didn't we see a build thread with non-OE rotors and calipers?
Yes on the rear. I have the Wilwood 15” conversion on now and will be going to the Strange setup soon. I still have the stock brakes on the front though and that is weight that’s going to need to come off going forward. Problem is that the smaller/lighter brake conversions are not going to have the stopping power and I don’t see getting the car down below about 4100 lbs. I have the chute (required) but do not want to have to rely on that to get stopped. At some point I may have to, but it’s a huge pita when you don’t have a pit crew to pick it up at the end of the track and have to climb out of the car on the turn off to pick it up.
