I just learned something from the wife over the weekend (ya really, there’s a first time for everything I think 🤔) that really makes me wonder if pets come back to some. The wife was dusting and looked at Kaci’s remnants box and the new pup was born on the same day she died, Christmas Eve, tell me that isn’t weird and is just a coincidence?????

Ready for trans then DS, exhaust system and I’m about done under here. Hoping to wrap up tomorrow that, blower installation, fuel swap back to gasoline for start up, she’s full to the brim with E85 so have to pump her dry and refill with 10 gallons of 93, maybe start up this weekend 🤞

Transmission slip right in like it was buttered. Spins super free with clutch in, absolutely no drag, Clutch disengage/ engage point about 1/4 off the floor, fully engaged at half pedal, feels GREAT, happy with it. Here’s how to put the exhaust on by yourself.

To avoid air pockets in the blower stand it up and fill it and cap it. Double insulating blanket, a look into the throat of the beast, easy way to put blower on by yourself.

The 100mm BBK TB matches up well to the hogged out snout. Drain tank tomorrow, put 10 gallons of fresh 93 in, pray to the gods, push the clutch in and push the start button like I says

Dude, the wood jigs on the exhaust is genius. I'll definitely be stealing that idea. I had been dropping it on my chest on a creeper and straining to keep it from dragging the floor while rolling out LOL.

Doing this alone off jack stands was a often thing in my youth, sometimes in a driveway or parking lot out in the element but I’m toooooooo old for this shit anymore lol, up down up down crawl in crawl out roll around a billion times, see how shiny the floor is?? It’s from my ass polishing it lol. THANK YOU for the kind words, it’s better then Motrin for the pain lol that someone has an idea what it took to accomplish this this meticulously in a sardine can off jack stands, my only savior was is my garage is air conditioned or I would have burned it by now lol. 👍

I'll be 69 in a month. I don't bounce to my feet off a concrete floor like I used to. So I feel your pain, as Monica's boyfriend was so fond of saying.
