Leah and Hagan will be with him. I didn't listen to the whole thing but when asked he didn't confirm if Hagan would be in a Dodge. Sure would be a sad day if it is a Toyota. I would change whom my favorite driver is if that happened but I'm not saying they are changing. Both have been the face of Dodge in NHRA so I sure don't want that to change

I haven't given a shit about NHRA anything in probably 12 years or more.

Too much BS has been allowed on something that was borderline boring to begin with.
They refuse to make changes to open up competition.
Payouts suck forcing those wishing to race to either pony up their own money or be at the mercy of sponsorships.

When many pro drivers are also hitting up the mega $$$ bracket races is telling. You can win more money racing a bracket car than you can win driving a Top Fuel or Funny Car. And they wonder why at times they can't get a full field.

This past summer, Byron drag way had a 160k to win bracket race. Meanwhile its 50k to win T/F. It costs peanuts to run a big block chevy on race gas running mid 10s compared a nitro car. You do that math.

I get what you are saying but I'm not paying the bills:)
I enjoying watching drag racing. I just wish they would scrap pro stock and replace it with Factory Stock. The big 3 are in it and they still leave the factory as real cars. They are also on a 9" slick running high 7's

Last few times I've watched, Pro Stock is just Camaros racing Camaros. Boring!

That is why they need to scrap it. The mustangs in the class are powered by chevy. Dodge and Ford are not putting any money in pro stock so this is what happens. Bob Glidden one of the winningest drivers had to get out when Ford did. He couldn't do it alone. I guess chevy decided to stay in all these years

I was saying this when Dodge dropped the first Drag Pak in 2008.

That should be Pro Stock with an NA motor
Then have a Factory Stock with the super/turbo charged motors
Current Pro Stock should adopt a Mountain Motor Pro Stock deal. I want to see 800+ cubic inches dancing over 10k rpm

Pro Mod is pretty fun as is
Top Fuel same

But payouts need to make the decision worth it. And for the love of God, drop the Good Year tire requirement. In fact, they should drop a lot of the rules that make it so damn difficult to get into it.

Will be interesting to see what will happen with everything next year. It wouldn't surprise me if Dodge will still be on board with Tony Some stories make it sound like it was a surprise to Don. You know it was talked about awhile ago. Could even be Dodge isn't sponsoring anyone next year, I couldn't find how long the last deal was for.
