The one on Mecum which is that car I think he said it had something to do with keeping the air out of the wheel well at speed

All about the aerodynamics at that speed. Really, think about it or sleds able to go 200 plus. There is some serious engineering to get it right and not have it go ballistically out of control. We all about rag about what our rides cost, not that I want to pay more, but they do Perform pretty damn good even against some higher priced European stuff. Especially proud of Challengers able to retain the retro look and keep aero control. Wish they could find a way to keep the 68, 9 and 70 Charger look. I know it could invoke many new threads on its own.
