Was thinking of this when I quoted Vortecd's signature earlier today. What should be the inscribed on a tablet and toted down from the mountain commandments of racing? The three that leaped to mind for me are:
1. "Shut up and Line up" (not sure who to attribute it to, MSHS? Demon performance?)
2. "Fast, reliable, and cheap, pick any two" been around awhile author unknown
3. "without DATA, you're just another person with an OPINION"," without a real world test, it is all a guess", currently attributed to Vortecd
4. "Let me show you the menu at gapplebees." fumanchu182 (have to have a Gapplebees reference)
5."spinning isn't winning" Vortecd
6. "practice practice practice" Vortecd
7. "Stay in it to win it- some dumb ass headed for the wall" Magnified
8. "Speed is expensive, how fast do you want to go?" B5Cat16
9. "“When in doubt, throttle out!” DaveB
10.#1 (Bull)
11.
"Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how hard you hit the wall."
Corollary: "Oversteer is when your backend hits the wall.
Understeer is when your front end hits the wall" Finface
(a little something for the road racers)
