Car is not lowered afaik, on HHP racing springs. Don't know if they retain the stock height.
I do know the demon killer springs lower the rear. I have demon springs in now and they raise it. I had to change tabs in aad arms from 5-7 to 3-5

There's a lot of potential contributing factors that can lead to premature or sudden CV wear, anything that can affect axle/CV geometry and of course wheel hop.

Ride height
Unusually excessive squat on launches
Excessive suspension deflection under load
Bad or unusual alignment specs
Missing top/bottom shock isolators
Wheel hop
Worn CV boots

Anyone want to add to this?

In my Charger, I haven't had an axle related issue for several years now however they do develop play over time under the kind of power and abuse I subject them to. I usually get them refreshed every 9-12 months and while they're sent out, I swap in my stand-by axles that had been refreshed the previous year.

This will be what I follow as well. send my Axles for refresh after each season.

I know I don't run as much as you but probably put more street miles on my car. I sent mine in and they said they looked pretty good after 3 years and was surprised I had a vibration being they were still pretty tight. The inner stubs were twisted after digging in a little more. They are smooth now:)

Axle will not come out. Have to get on the phone with hhp or wavetrac to see how they want me to do this. If it was just splines/broken it would have come out already.

The splines on the axle or in the diff could have twisted enough to make it near impossible to remove. I’ve had a few over the years.

Got one in my garage now where I gave up a couple months ago trying to pull the inner stub out on one side.

Every time they were more difficult to remove than normal, it was because the splines had twisted.

Maybe not the case here, just sharing my personal experience with it.

Since I use old style axles, I can normally bolt a 2x6 or 2x8 piece of wood to the stub and then hammer it out. With your one piece demon axles, you can’t do that so… eh, maybe someone has a tip that’ll work for you.

I see on facebook you said those are direct connection axles. Are these the ones they are putting in the 170 or just redeye axles?

Just redeye. 170s do not fit in the hellcat diff

And we’ll see the 170 diff/axles around the same time it took for them to release the stage kits (if ever)

Correct but buying a wavetrack they may make one to fit them so guessing. Redeye axles wouldn't be on my list for an upgrade part. On a side note gforce thinks they upgraded the wrong part of the axle for the 170 not the part that breaks so not sure what that is about

Idk, I know I’m slow, but I’m running high 9s (9.8, hopefully 9.7 with trans shifting right) on 2015 axles lol. I have a redeye driveshaft in the car, redeye/demon axles are on my upgrade list. GeForce can think whatever they want, their axles are garbage

The IMS rear and DSS axles have been awesome. I've broken the redeye demon axles. They can handle any wheel hop at all.
