4 beers
Nice !!!

Since it was fathers day
I treated myself
I had a beer that tasted like root beer "Crazy Uncle Hard Root Beer"
Man if you like root beer this is the ticket
But
44 grams of sugar
That was enough for the month
First beer since Jan......was thirsty and had them in a frosted mug....ICE COLD...didn't want anymore flavored water

Beer goes down real good when its in that frosty mug
Too good LOL

I don t do spirits too often
I ll do the odd shot of Crown or JD but I m not a fan
I don t do any pop / juice / flavored anything
No wine
Nothing sweet or sugary
Light beer or water with a slice lemon is 95 percent of my fluid consumption
An old friend called beer belly wash
He drank whiskey on the rocks like I drink beer ( too much )
After 10 or 12 drinks he would jump on the John Deere & ride home

He passed away 3 years ago at 93
RIP Frank

RIP indeed...but Linda...you reference seeing Blazing saddles @ the drive in...now my wife and I did more than our share of Drive in movies back in the day...but I doubt either of us remembers any of the movies..:unsure::unsure:
Loved Two Lane Blacktop! Two movies I really remember seeing at the drive-in are Vanishing Point and Jaws. Went to see Vanishing point with three fraternity brothers in my 69 4 speed RoadRunner. We rowed through the gears with the movie in every scene. I had seen Jaws before and took my now wife of 47 years on a date way back then. I scared the living crap out of her when the scene where Jaws “we need a bigger boat” came up! I’ll never forget that…neither does she.

Love Gabby Johnson.
Great movie.
Campfire scene was outrageous. Still is!

You had to have grown up watching traditional westerns to truly appreciate how funny that was.

I saw that last night, lately I'm starting to feel old. I can't beleive all these people in their 80's passing away.

RIP

Linda

PS, I loved those types sleeves on shirts for men and women.

Actually they were popular in the early 70's before Disco dancing.
There were not a lot of guys wearing the shirts, but the sleeves were really nice on my purple blouse and wearing a mini skirt.
